I just found out from Mark Nagata about the coverage in Hyper Hobby.
To my surprise my Rokuashi prototypes were featured. Thanks again to Mark, Kirby and Whitney and the rest of the crew at Rotofugi.

I started using a new kind of glitter that sparkles in multiple colors and creates a different effect.
I'll have the first batch of Sparkle Bullhorns at DesignerCon this year.

Toy Karma 2 Was A Blast!

I had fun meeting people and just hanging out around Rotofugi last weekend. The show was well done, the people were cool, and the food was good. It was a long day but totally worth the trip.
Rotofugi is an awesome store run by really good people who work hard to make it the best designer toy store around. I highly recommend them.

AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!

Hacked again. I thought I fixed it the first time. What horrible timing. Should be fixed and I'm working with the Host to determine if it's on their end now. The blog is safe as well as the webstore. Just everything hosted at the server.

Anyway...I'll be at Toy Karma 2 this weekend in Chicago. If you're there I'd love to meet you. I look like this guy.


I should have some one-off Bullhorns with me. I've been experimenting lately.

Two shows completed.

I've been working on some things lately. I did 3 different versions of my next figure Rokuashi for the Toy Karma 2 Show and the Part A+Part B show, as well as a stencil.
Here's one of the Rokuashi figures for Toy Karma 2. I've been teasing these for awhile on Flickr but I figured it was close enough to the show to start offering up real photos. The Rokuashi for the Part A+Part B show has A little different arms and a different colorway.

More will come soon. I'm experimenting with GID and I hope it turns out. It will be interesting either way.

uhoh Toys on Sabbatical

I'll be taking the summer off from releasing new stuff because of a broken elbow. I'll try and finish my submissions for the Toy Karma II show in September though. I hope to still make it down to Chicago for the opening. I wish everyone an awesome summer and hopefully things will turn around soon.

Not Toy Related

I worked on a short film last year that will finally have a Sneak Preview on June 6th.
If you're in Minneapolis this weekend it will be at the Uptown Theater Friday at midnight.
It's not toy related but uhoh Toys will have a limited number of resin objects specific to the film available.
