VTN!

VTN was fun. Saw the sights and forgot my camera. Met the Toy Break crew and did an interview on their live feed. Never saw the people I intended to meet. Oh well.

I'll be at VTN taking in the sights this weekend. It's also my birthday! I'll be giving away Micro Mr. TeePee keychains to people who harass me.

Also I'll be at the Hive Gallery for the Are You Product People? show on Saturday night.
If I'm not at any of these locations, I'm probably at Vegan Spot or Flore eating shakes or sandwiches.
Vegan Spot is closed. What a bummer. No Shakes or Twinkies for me.

I like this much better. Softer eyes, an actually gray jetpack and clear orange flame make it look much better. He has a striped tie now as well.

Barrister Ghost is a stressed out laywer and father of two. He's always running around and decided to buy a jetpack to get things done faster.
I plan on releasing in three colorways and limited to 3 per color.
This is a test prototype and not the intended colorway.

Box design for Gus is done. I need to print a few more and I'll be ready to post them at the store. The contest will probably be next week to mark the drop for these figures.
I'm thinking of giving away an unpainted GID Gus. I'll have to decide if I want to paint it or not.

I've made a few two-tone Gus figures. These are two of the colorways.
I haven't had much time to work lately but the packaging for Gus is almost finished and I have a few more sculpts that are coming together. I plan to have something new out in October for Halloween.

Mr. TeePee Customs

If you ordered a blank Mr. TeePee then I'd like to see what you did with it.
I have a few customs I did which I'll post soon. I made an all gold, all silver, and a GID one. Each comes with a suprise. You can see the GID in the last post.
I'm thinking of making a few more blanks because there are some people who I'd like to see work on one.

Busy.

I've been busy lately working on a film with my friend and haven't gotten to finishing the packaging on Gus.
I'll have some Micro Mr. TeePee's ready to go soon (hopefully this weekend).
I've been experimenting with different castings and making new colors and effects. Metallic and transparent looks pretty cool. I'll post pics soon.
What I hope to have up soon:

3. Gus figure unpainted black prototype
4. Small prints and stencils

Micro Mr. TeePee is a hit!

I've given away a few Micro Mr. TeePee's to various people and gotten some positive feedback. I think I'll have them up on the webstore soon.
I also will put up some stencils I've done just to keep the name out there.

New Gus preview

I have a few ready to go but I need to work on the packaging. Here's a test of a purple Gus.

These two Mr. TeePee's are left and then I'm sold out. Original run of 25 plus 4 DIY Blanks are nearly all gone. I gave away 4 through contests. Thanks to everyone who picked up a Mr. TeePee and helped me along in this toy adventure.

GID coming soon!

Cast a few GID GUS toys last night. They really glow! I'm pretty happy with the results. The white one is white and glows blue and the clear one looks like regular GID, with a slight green tinge to it, but then it glows a bright, bright blue. The white also has a depth to it when seen from different angles. These will be up for sale soon and limited.

GUS preview

Lot's of stuff in the mail

I got my resin dye yesterday. I had to pick up some different resin (pigmentable) and it works great. I think the first GUS color released will be a black prototype ala Japanese vinyl. I'll post photos soon.

I also got the mini screws needed for the Mr. TeePee key chains I'm working on. Those will be out soon in a variety of colors. Check here or the webstore for updates.

New old Post

I'm working on some new stuff. I had a mold go pear-shaped on me and had to clean up a big (little) mess. The Mr. TeePee keychain/zipperpull is looking okay. It's hard to cast such a small piece and there's no way to vent it. I'll be getting some different dye soon to make more colors.

I still can't decide if I'm going to SDCC this year. I really want to because it's a good idea to check it out from a community/industry standpoint...but the main reason I want to go is my two toy heroes, Itokin Park and Touma are going to be there.
About 100% sure I won't make it this year either.

I've been working so much I haven't had time to get anything done. I still have some shirt designs I need to finish and some poster/prints I need to work on.

Last Green Mr. TeePee ON SALE!

One green Mr. TeePee got returned by the Post Office for unexplained reasons and I'm putting him up at a reduced price at the webstore. If you like the color or just don't want to spend too much you should pick him up. Please contact me first.
As you may be able to tell from the photo the packaging got a little jacked by the Post Office.

New Toy coming along.

My new toy GUS is coming close to being done. I need to finish the packaging and come up with a color scheme. There's one more piece I need to create and then painting, flocking and packaging and it's ready to go.

I decided to start using a blog for my website to keep things simple for me and for anyone interested in uhoh Toys. I'll be posting about the toy and design work I'm doing and will answer any questions anyone might have.
